Costs & Charges

We have built up our reputation by offering a dedicated and sympathetic service to the local community. All arrangements can be dealt with, be they cremation, burial or repatriation, monumental masonry, flowers, catering or funeral stationery.

The nature of business in which we operate makes it essential that an understanding and highly trained team of staff are always on hand, 24 hours a day, to offer personal assistance and advice.

We have a complete selection of coffins, caskets, gowns and ashes caskets and can provide prices with no obligation.
DISBURSEMENTS
These are essentially, fees that we pay on your behalf, inclusive of all documentation fees, minister fees, organist fees, and any other incidental expenses incurred on your behalf. This means that any requirement you have, such as flowers, catering, press anouncements etc etc, can be ordered on your behalf and paid by ourselves, to be passed onto you as part of the funeral account. This means you don't have various bills to various people, just one account with us for everything.

For the purpose of the estimate, the funeral director will approximate the cost of various disbursements. However, you will appreciate that we have no direct control over these charges and they are subject to variation. However, should there be any major variation, we will inform you before proceeding.
COSTS AND CHARGES
In all aspects of the funeral arrangements, our funeral director will point out the procedures and legal requirements as applicable to every stage of the funeral. Whilst arranging the funeral, the funeral director will advise on costs and charges to be incurred, with a full written confirmation and estimate of the details and charges to be made.

The funeral account itself will be divided into two parts, our charges and disbursements paid on your behalf.

Hygienic treatment and attendances to the deceased are also considered to be very important by our company. The last time you saw a loved one may have been distressing, perhaps in hospital or for the purpose of identification. In either event, we believe that in asking us to care for your loved one, you would like to know that the best that could be done for your relative, has been done.
HEARSE AND LIMOUSINES
The hearse for the funeral, with chauffeur and sufficient bearers are also an essential part of our service to you. This is especially important when you require the service to be held in church or other place of worship,as, unless otherwise requested, we carry the coffin on our shoulders, in and out of the place of worship. This we believe, is the ultimate in reverence and respect, and reflects in our past traditions.

Limousines are charged for separately. This ensures that you are not charged for something you may not want or need.

The charge for a limousine is fully inclusive of arrival at the address where the family wish to be picked up, through to the funeral and return to the destination address after the funeral, within ten running miles. Each limousine is capable of transporting seven mourners and is maintained to a very high standard by highly trained staff. Our limousine includes full air conditioned climate control cabins.
